Real question, I don’t try to defend chinese (I tried to learn another language with tonal stuff (how do you call that with high or low voice ?) and it was awfull).
Don’t you think that knowing japanese may help for exemple, as japanese created their kanji on the chinese caracters ? Of course, nothing to compare for the prononciation and japanese has 2 alphabets working in the same time as the kanji.

I have just got from 4 months of Travelling Africa, New Zealand and Thailand. I was on my travels for quite a long time but I couldn’t bear travelling for 4 years, because I would miss home after a while which I already did. I have enjoyed following your blog so I hope you keep doing them. Do you miss having friends?
